Mio Digiwalker C230 Review

August 09th, 2008 | Category: Gadgets, Reviews

This is the nav unit.

Several months ago, I was loaned a Mio Digiwalker C230. The one condition was that I had to use the unit and provide some feedback on what I do and don’t like about it.  Well, I used it all over the place; from Seattle (confusing city) to Pullman (middle of nowhere) and everywhere in between.  I’ve used it to get to places both when I do know how to get there and when I don’t.  Now I’m ready to share what I’ve found.

Roomba Scheduler: First Run

December 02nd, 2007 | Category: Gadgets, WSU
My dorm room at WSU is not all that big, but considering it's only me in here, it's not too bad. Up until now, I was using a carpet sweeper. That does work, but it's slow and I don't use it often enough.

My solution: I bought a Roomba Scheduler (which is a Discovery with the scheduler accessories) from Woot.com for $104, including shipping. It arrived on Friday. After waiting 32 hours for the battery to charge (16-hour first charge, I didn't have the battery seated properly the first time), I'm finally getting a chance to run it. Read more
